Veterinary Body Bags: Complete Guide for Canadian Pet Clinics
Everything veterinary clinics need to know about pet cadaver bags — sizes, cremation compatibility, materials, and ordering. Made in Ontario for Canadian animal hospitals. Compare all four sizes on the veterinary body bags page.
Why a Pet Cadaver Bag Matters in a Veterinary Clinic
Veterinary clinics handle the passing of beloved pets daily. Having the right body bag ensures dignified handling, proper sanitation, and compliance with provincial veterinary waste regulations. Medgear's vet bags are designed specifically for animal care settings — cremation-friendly, properly sized, and built for the workflow of a busy clinic.

Cremation Compatibility
All Medgear veterinary body bags are cremation-friendly. The chlorine-free LDPE material burns cleanly at standard cremation temperatures, producing no toxic emissions and leaving minimal ash residue. This means:
- No separation required — bag and remains go directly into the cremator
- Reduced handling — less stress on staff and more dignified for the pet
- Clean burn — no harmful byproducts from chlorinated plastics
- Compatible with both pet and livestock cremation equipment
